My morning was good and extraordinary because I discovered by reading the newspaper that the Friends of Reader Rock Garden Society is hosting the Reader Rock Garden 3rd Annual Garden Stroll from 1 – 3 pm on July 21, Sunday.
The Reader Rock Garden is among the historical gardens in Calgary. I’ve learned about this fascinating fact and more by attending the Calgary Public Library Programs.
Already, I can picture just how wonderful those flowers up close.
Visit the website of Reader Rock Garden to learn its history and wonders; you’ll have an idea of how much amazement you can experience in the event.
The garden is teeming with life. I’m eager to witness the different species of flowers and to learn more from the guest speaker Donna Balzer.
From 1:30 – 2:00 pm she’ll be sharing her knowledge to all of those who have decided to spend an afternoon in a historical, majestic refuge.
The tour also includes light refreshment and seeing artists at work. The Reader Rock Garden 3rd Annual Garden Stroll is my pick for weekend walkabout, which is also part of my challenges for 2013.
This is not a challenge at all. It will depend on the weather, so from this day I’ll keep picturing and stay optimistic of a not-so-hot afternoon this coming Sunday.
