Making It Through

Updated on October 20, 2017 by Carolyn Leave a Comment

No, this is not my first day of blogging or being in Canada.

But this first WordPress post is somehow my version of “Hello World” as an alien who have been busy figuring things every day and mulling of getting back to blogging for about a year all ready.

Alas, lostintheleafcity.com found its place in the blogosphere in spite of procrastination and ever-enduring alibis—I never run out and can’t stop thinking of things I should learn and do (or redo just to redeem myself for the first, or second, embarrassing attempt).

As a stranger to unfamiliar realm, I often ask questions to people (for direction) and to the Internet (quite often) when I’m too shy to bother a busy soul.

Obviously, I’m not the only one who have been in this state or someone right now is bewildered by my same experience a year ago when bus numbers scared me just as the figures in my math classes in university.

Somehow I can be of help. That maybe others can do things the right and easy way initially whether it’s a simple task or otherwise.

Which I’ll surely envy yet it is more rewarding to lend a hand for someone to also make it through—one day at a time—befriending the unfamiliar and facing the uncertainty.
