Have you read the book The Lovely Bones which is made into a movie of the same title?
If you’re in Calgary, Alberta you can have the chance to meet its author Alice Sebold; and hear her speak in the Annie Davidson Lecture 2013.
When: Tuesday, March 26, 2013
Time: 7:00 – 9:00 pm
Where: John Dutton Theatre (2nd floor), The Central Library
As of this writing, spaces are still available. You can save your seat if you register online via The Calgary Public Library.
For those who have read the book or watch the movie both of which begets questions that you might want to ask the author–if you only have the chance.
I doubt whether you’ll have the opportunity to ask and get an answer.
But don’t despair. You can see Alice Sebold and participate in the public reception and book signing after the lecture.
Sounds inviting.
Maybe you can bring your own copy of The Lovely Bones and have it autograph. Will you be in luck?
We don’t know yet. But first you need to register then you’ll have a 50 percent of probability and leave the rest to luck.
Tip: Get a copy of the Free Adult Program Guide of the Calgary Public Library for more upcoming events till the end of April. With the remaining six weeks you can register and attend the diverse free adult programs.
So far my favorite is the Historical Gardens of Calgary but the list would definitely adds up.
